Prof. Dr. Tarek Khalil

• Professor of orthopedic surgery at Ain Shams University and a consultant of knee surgery, arthroscopy and sports medicine.
• He obtained his MD in injuries of the cruciate ligament from Leeds University, England.
• He is one of the pioneers of arthroscopic surgery in Egypt. He specialized in this field in 1986 at the very beginning of its introduction in Egypt.
• He was trained in Egypt and England
• He obtained and honorary certificate of training from the royal college of surgeons in London.
• He has successfully trained many junior surgeons.
